Stigmata is Sri Lanka's pioneering and premier Metal band. They have represented Sri Lanka by performing around the world from headlining and filling Army stadiums, auditoriums to open air theatres and prestigious indoor venues.
Stigmata has made Sri Lanka proud with performances in Australia, Dubai, Malaysia, India, Maldives and Bangladesh. There were from over 30,000 fans at the Army Stadium in Dhaka to 300 hardcore fans travelling from around the Middle East to watch Stigmata headline Resurrection Dubai at the Majestic Hotel.
The band has an ecletic and vast following in Sri Lanka and globally. An attentive portion of its target base is in Sri Lanka consisting of a large untapped and promising target segment essentially ranging between the ages of 13-40 years. They do comprise of international and local students; graduates, high end corporates, all professionals including advertising and marketing specialists; leading icons in media, theatre, fashion and entertainment industry; teenagers and the third generation fans.
The Band's newly launched state of the art website has accumulated nearly 20,000 visitors in just 6 days. Stigmata have acquired over half a million hits on Social Media and are not only the no.1 ranked Band in the region on Reverbnation but hit over 25,000 likes on the Band's Official Facebook Fan Page.
They had recently launched the First single and Lyric Video for 'An Idle Mind is the Devil's Workshop' which is taking the globe by storm.
The new single and lyric video was featured in France's Hard Force webzine.
Their highly anticipated fourth album has been 5 years in the making and is titled 'The Ascetic Paradox'. It is the world's first Interactive Concept Album. The whole record tells a tale, with the detailed characters in the concept and each of the songs along with the lyrics unravel themes and sub plots.  The beauty of this concept is that the listener is enabled to realise what the climax or anti-climax of the story could reveal. 
As part of their special 15 year anniversary plan and having disseminated 'Pure Sri Lankan Metal' worldwide, the Band has executed a 15 Year gig plan selecting only 15 of the Biggest and most Unique international and local shows throughout 2015 and early 2016. 
The legendary Kumar Sangakkara had selected the Band's instrumental "Andura" as his walk-in anthem at his last one day international match at the ICC World Cup. This had made history and brought honour for the band.
Stigmata will tie up with Telecom behemoths Dialog in a historical merger as the Brand Ambassadors for Dialog Music. An integrated venture that would reach to a broader spectrum of a target audience island wide.
